10 Gnomes 7: the Solitude
play | comment | watch video| watch video from location
I have a big problem. My city is flooded with tourists and most of the locations that I’d like to show you are occupied with picture snapping hordes of foreigners. That doesn’t sound like a good setup for the gnomes, does it. Then I remembered that there is this one place in the very centre of the old town of my city that hardly no one knows about and no one goes there. For real, it’s 5 metres away from the outside crowd and biggest tourist’s attractions of my old town, not speaking that it gives a nice cool shadow relaxation and is quiet and peaceful. And beautiful as well. Yet it’s always empty. It’s open for the public, but you have to go through two doors to get into that inside yard. That’s the solitude I was looking for in a city overrun by people in shorts. And the gnomes were there.

Yay, another 10 Gnomes game! Great work Mateusz. I can’t wait for CF3 too! =]

This game is a lot easier than most of the 10 gnomes games. Are there more than 10 gnomes, like in the last one?

Hi there!
What a great place! Love it!
You know exactly how to choose it, to build a game.
I wanna be one of those gnomes to stay comfortable in there :)
Kisses.

Yeah! I found all 10 on the first try. But, for some reason or other, the game counted only 9?! Once again, another fun search thanks to Mateusz.

I liked this one a lot. None of the gnome games have any signs of human presence, but this one did feel more isolated and calm. I’d love to be able to retreat to this place some times.
you have convinced me that I need to visit Poland some day :)

great game once again! it took me 2 tries to finish with every thing. I i found the troll too. not the hardest one but still fun, i liked the isolated feeling of this one. and how peaceful the setting is but you don’t forget your timed. also with some of the camera angles it really made me feel like i was searching for them.
keep up the good work and i cant wait to see next months!

looks like you still have a tourist in gnome territory. does this mean we may soon find gnomes in Daymare Town? great episode, and i can hardly wait for the next one.

reminds me of when you are walking at the end of Submachine 2

Find 10 gnomes!:) But no troll!:(
August 7th, 2008 at 9:50 am
Where is the troll?? :P
I didn’t find it at all, although i found all of the gnomes at first try!
August 7th, 2008 at 10:03 am
Nevermind :)
Found it! ZHANG!!!! :)
But it is not a troll! It’s a lil man from daymare town, lol!
It even whispers to you like them. And it is counted beyond the gnomes! :)
I was sure 7th episode couldn’t be as simple as it seemed to be: There was the hidden gem, the hidden little man. Great work Murtaugh: you make it new every month, keeping it classic.

zajefajne, może w Brzeźnie w bunkrach są jakieś gnomy? A może w torpedowni? Albo w “Piątce” ? Na Monciaku? Może to jednak komercja, ale jest ok:) A rynek we Wrzeszczu? Stary browar? Jakiś stary park jordanowski? Tory kolejowe? Szczególnie te między Wrzesczem a Politechniką… 17stka? Stary pas startowy na Zaspie? Cmentarz na Kolibkach? Ten pomiędzy drogami. Za starąstacją CPN. O! to jest to! Wiesz, że tam nikt nie był? Trzymam kciuki:)

I found 8 gnomes and a troll on my first try in the first 5 mins and a half. It was fun; keep up the great work!

Get a bit rattled that when Ive gotten the 10gnomes out in good time, the timer keeps ticking over, therefore adding extra time to my score.I do hope something will be done about that.Otherwise much enjoyed-Hi from NewZealand…….

Да уж Пока это у нас не очень сильно развито, так что придётся подождать.

This game has inspired me to look more closely at my surroundings; your photography is exquisite! The incongruity of the trolls makes me smile, especially the noise they make.
