game description:
A sequel to the world’s famous point and click Submachine game, that grabbed minds of millions of people. I received huge feedback from all around the world, most of the demands stated to make the second game bigger with harder puzzles. So here it is, while the first game had 20 rooms, this one has a total of 98 unique rooms, and the puzzles are a lot tougher, but that’s just my subjective opinion, since I can’t really tell if they are or not. Important notice: this game has NO dead ends, you cannot get to the point of no return, where the only option is to reset the game. No such thing in the Lighthouse. Hope you’ll enjoy this game as much as I enjoyed making it, and sure enough, submachine3 is under construction as we speek, so expect more.

I BEAT IT!!!!!! im shocked, i beat it with very little help…im usually searching for walkthroughs after the first 5 minutes. Thats why i like this game so much….its a point and click game that makes sense…you dont have to click on a small minute area and you dont have to do any ridiculous things that dont make sense….SUBMACHINE games make sense. I am looking foward to the third one……………………I found no use for the radio, the giant fusebox or the bricked up wall……i really got sucked into the game…its like 1:30am now, the music and the movie really freaked me out….any way…if you’re stuck heres what to do……the 4 digit code and the positive and negitive coils, ID and fuse
btw i got 17 secret items.
Wow this is the 1st time im helping people….i feel so smart lol anyways great game…i had a blast playin it……
THANKS
wee Kiwi in New Zealand:
Loved this game it’s one of the best escape games I have played and I see at the end that this is to be continued… Can’t wait I only got 18 secrets so I don’t think that it’s not the whole purpose of the game other than that I give this game a 9.5 Cheers!!!

It’s about freakin’ time!
I mean, it’s about time I was able to complete a flash point-and-click game without using spoilers. It’s about time a point-and-click flash game required logic and skill instead of luck and patience to solve. Not to mention, the art is beautiful. I love the storybook-esque art, though I’ll admit that, after playing the original Submachine, I was put off at first by the new style. But it quickly grew on me and I realized the amount of effort that had gone into this game was evident from the final product. The soundtrack is also pretty nifty. Kind of haunting. It reminds me a bit of Darkfall in its ambient quality. Actually, the music that plays in the background of the beginning rooms sounds like a slowed down version of the music that played in the original Submachine. Still though, very nice and complementary of the gameplay. My only gripe would be the last ’secret item.’ I played this after the bug-fix, so here I was visually scanning every room for a little red ball, with nothing to show for it. So sad. I cried a little inside. And when I was done I checked here and found that it was behind a tile. While clever, it reminded me a bit of the random-clicking escape-the-room games where the thing you’re looking for isn’t visually obvious. Other than that, I’d give this game a 9.9/10 or 99% or an A or whatever grading scale one uses for these things.
Some Lunatic:
Excellent work! This game is superb. Very interesting. I finished with 17/20 secrets. Very, very well done. Good puzzles, nicely thought out. It reminded me a little of Silent Hill with the way the puzzles worked out. Like the movie, when you reach out and take something INSIDE the movie, and it just falls out of the movie player, and it’s real. Very spooky. Kudos on a wonderfully made and presented game! :]

COMPLIMENTI.
V on rewolucje.com forum:
Amazing game. My friends and I were joking the creator is either insane, or a genius. Or maybe both. I finished with 18/20 secrets, but I had to use the walkthrough to find where the coils go. Please make a feature so in the future I can save my game. Totally addicting though. I looove it! Can’t wait for the next one, where I’ll waste(?) another three hours playing it. Slightly creepy, but it added to the suspense. Again, fabulous, fabulous game. It’s rare you get a sequel better than the original!
Katherine on jayisgames.com:
wahoo! I finished! submachine is the best series of games ever! I had several forehead smacking moments, when I used the hints in the comments to figure out something that was really simple. My advice to everyone who plays this…just keep thinking and trying! It’s simpler than it seems, and there is usually only one or two things you need to do in any room, so don’t go over old territory too much once you’ve done about two things in a room.
Free Games News:

I love this game… can’t wait to do the next one. the leap from the 1st; basement to 2nd; the lighthouse was awsome… expect even more next time! the music, the artwork, the whole design of the map was soooo intriguing in this one!!!
Slainey:
loved the game. Just about pulled my hair out looking for the blasted fork. I thought the whole thing was wonderful. Challanging puzzles but not so hard that your average gamer couldn’t figure them out on their own. It also flowed without being too linear. Thank you for all your hard work and thought you put into this project and I know we will all be waiting (not so patiently) for the next one.
Christa Rim:
that was…. amazing.
Poetgirl:

Natasha McBride:
I played submachine2 and it was better than the first but i still play both. I liked submachine2 the best because there is so much to do and u have to remember where the rooms are what to use, stuff like that. I would say that if ur making a nother now then u should make them harder and harder as they go and with more rooms and items. Oh and those extra things to find (like trap doors) was pretty cool. If u dont make stuff like that it will be fine cause ur doin fine with the ideas u got already. Hope the next game gets me jumpin out of my seat again.
JamsCo at newgrounds.com:
The graphics on this game are simply awesome, the very detailed and very well done, where animation is needed, there it is. Keep up the good work!

thesmileguy at newgrounds.com:
i already know it’s good and i’ve only played for 5 minutes! you have a such a knack for using sound to create a very intense mood and feel for this game. i can’t wait to get home and try to tackle it. very well done from what i see so far, and if it’s anything like your first, it will remain to be well done until i complete the game!
