Storm of the Year 2008 award – 10 Gnomes honoured
last night I received this:
to my total surprize I must add. Fourth nomination, I guess I got used to not getting it. But this year the Gnomes did the job. Big thanks to everyone who voted. Now all I need is a fireplace to put this on. The awards took place in the local television studio and was being broadcast live, and I had no idea whatsoever what’s coming, so it’s no surprize that I kind of lost it during the acceptance speech. :D But not that much, I think I managed to get my thought through – that I’m happy that a game was considered as art. Concluding – just like in those gnome games, now you can try to find me on the following picture:

Haha, I KNEW that was you! I found another photo of you surfing the web. You look a mite paranoid in the shot I found. But I totally KNEW it was you – you were the first one I picked. And you couldn’t have worn like a suit or anything…? Bah.

Congratulations! The Gnome Games are very creative and we go deeper into the (beautiful work of) photography than ‘regular’ photographic art, so it’s not any wonder you were chosen for this :-)
As for which one you are….
Well, having only seen one photo of you, and from behind, this isn’t going to be easy.
So, you’re not Asian, or female, or bald, or given to wearing hats, beards or glasses, (I think??), so that just leaves 2, lol. The guy in the tan slacks and the dude in the brown jacket. I’m going to guess you’re brown-jacket guy, he looks just tickled to pieces to be there, lol.
